Weekly Tip : Peplum Tops

Hi Everyone!

Hope you had a great week, so far. Till now my week went fantastically good.
My this week's topic(Tip) is Peplum Tops. I personally like this style a lot and looking for some good Peplum for myself too.

As I have been searching for this top from quite a long time, I have realized that many people do not know about this as I went to many stores and asked for this top and they were like: Peplum... aahhh what is that?

The meaning of the word peplum is a short flared, gathered, or pleated strip of fabric attached at the waist of a woman's jacket, dress, or blouse. I find this top very interesting as it gives an hour glass shape to your body from below your waist.

From high street fashion to ramp walks, you will find beautiful and different styles of Peplum tops everywhere. These tops have short flared, gathered, or pleated strip of fabric attached at the waist, so they go very well with a tight fitted bottom like high waist tight skirt, pants, mini skirts.

Peplum tops can be carried as a formal wear, night parties or even at a date night.

Thank you so much for reading this! I hope you love this top like I do.

Roof Top: Indo-Western Formal Wear

Hi Everyone,

Today's post is a requested post. This is an indo-western fusion wear which we can wear for office and for college too.  It is a very easy going, daily wear.

I have picked this short kurti-top from Reliance Trends.  This is a cotton top and it works great for summers, especially as an office wear. Usually in India, we prefer to wear something like this at work. This look gives you the freedom of movement as well as an Indian touch.

Adding little accessories with a simple top can bring out that required glamour which we all need. So, pick some short kurti top and pair it with your denim jeans and add little accessories and you are ready to start your day.

I really liked the location for the shoot but, reaching here was a task as I was wearing heels and my heart was pounding because of the height. But we still wanted to take a little risk, and as a result the shoot came out well. Here, I would like to thank my team for their support in carrying out this shoot.

Thank you so much for reading this! I hope you like this look.

Wish you a great day ahead.

Weekly Tip: Crop Top

Hi Everyone!

First, I want to wish you all a very Happy Raksha Bandhan. I hope you guys had fun celebrating this beautiful festival.

Today's weekly tip is on crop tops. Crop tops were famous in mid 1980's especially when Madonna wore it in her music videos and then in 1990's crop tops were in fashion. They are again back in fashion now.  These smart looking tops shows your midriff a bit. According to your convenience you can select how much exposure you want and according to it you can choose the size of the top.

If you are uncomfortable with too much exposure of skin, you can also layer a cropped top over a longer tank top or even a ganji. Carol Steele, northwest fashion director for Nordstrom, once said that a jeans jacket over a cropped top is a great look and I think the same too :)

These look very cool in hot summers. These tops are very versatile and can look flattering when styled correctly.

You can choose the length and size of your top according to your need. You can pair it with a high waist skirt, shorts or pants. I think a crop top looks amazing with a high waist skirt as it gives a very sophisticated look. If you don't want to show your skin, you can wear a tank top underneath the crop top and it will look equally good.

These tops are perfect for a pool party, music festivals, night clubs. If you pair it nicely you can also wear it for a party or on a date.

Look Good: White and Yellow Shift Dress

Hi Everyone,

Today's post is dedicated to Myntra Originals. They have some beautiful clothes on their website and that too in so affordable prices. All the clothes and the accessories I'm wearing today are all from It is true that you can look good with Myntra Originals.

When I was searching through Myntra Originals, back of my mind I was thinking of doing something new with this pairing and which I can show you in this post. I thought of showing all of you different ways of wearing a dress.

So, I selected this shift dress which have an amazing combo of white and yellow. White is a color which goes with almost everything and Yellow being a bright color brings out a nice joyful feel to the entire look.

I have divided this dress into three styles. For the first look, I wore this dress as it is. I personally love this dress as it is very light and comfortable and also it's a perfect fit. I'm also wearing a brown belt with this dress which has enhanced it's entire look.

For the second look, I have used Myntra Original's flared denim skirt. Here, I'm using the upper part of the dress as a top by wearing a skirt beneath. The flared denim skirt has given the entire outfit a very different look by adding little appeal to the legs. The color combination of this dress is also going very well with this denim skirt.

For the last look, I have used a t-shirt by Myntra Originals. Here, I have used the lower part of the dress as a straight fit skirt by wearing a t-shirt over it. I have used the belt to secure the length of this top.

I hope you liked the concept of wearing a particular dress in different ways.

Weekly Tip: Smart and Versatile Scarfs

Hi Everyone,
Scarfs are such a versatile piece of accessory in your closet that can hit or flop your full attire. You can carry scarfs with your professional look or with a casual daily look. I love to pair a scarf wherever I can to give the look a bit more edgy and smart. I have also paired a scarf in one of my previous post ( Check out here ).

You can wear a scarf with your shirt and trouser to give it a very professional look or you can wear it with a tee-shirt and a jeans for a very casual yet edgy look. Wear a scarf with your swimming custom to protect your hair from the chlorine water and at the same time you can look stunning in the pool too :). There are so many ways in which you can use a scarf.

It seems like Jesicca Alba's favorite accessory is a scarf and why wouldn't it be? It is such a great piece of accessory which you can carry with any look. You can use it to protect you from sun or rain. You can also hang it with your handbag to give it a more glamorous look. One scarf can help you in so many ways. WOW

So Girls! go get yourself some of these amazing scarfs which can make you look styish even more and can protect you too :)

Visit to Kesrauli: Palazzo Pants and Orange Touch

Hi Everyone!

While you are reading this, I'm on my way back home. For me this was a very small trip. We stayed at the 'Neemrana Hotels' (Hill Fort) which is actually a Heritage Hotel. The view from the hotel was breath-taking and relaxing.

So, straight from Kesrauli, I bring you my palazzo pants with a tinch of orange. Palazzo pants are very comfortable, especially in summers because they are very loose and provide room for air and they also give a very smart look. Since Palazzo pants are so flowy and wavy, I have paired them with a tight-fitted Ganji top. This look creates an illusion of adding length to the legs making you look taller.

Palazzo pants flare out evenly from the waist to the ankle, and are therefore different from bell bottoms. You can wear these pants if you're going out shopping, for a coffee or even at your office. These pants give you a very sophisticated yet a casual look.

So Girls! Get out of those boring tight-fitted jeans and try these palazzo pants. Also, let me know how you will like to pair your pants.

I had a lot of fun and I hope you guys had fun over the weekend too.

Thank you so much for reading! I hope you liked the post.
