Cadet Training: Grey Tee and Black Cargo Pants

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday, I was watching Cadet Kelly where Hilary Duff had to go through tough military training. I was a tomboy when I was in school and always dreamt of joining Army. Watching Cadet Kelly brought those old memories back. So, today’s post is inspired by the military training uniform and I kept the whole outfit very simple and comfortable. 

I paired a basic grey tee with the cargo pants. Cargo Pants also called combat trousers, after their original military purpose emerged in the 1930s. These pants are loosely cut pants which are designed for tough, outdoor activities. These stylish, comfortable pants are a perfect choice when it comes to comfort wear. 

I salute to our army who protects us and works so hard to keep us safe.

Owls Nest: Brown Peplum Jacket and Long Sweater

I hope you guys are enjoying this warm Sunday!

Delhi's weather is so unpredictable! Few days ago it was quite warm and I started to feel that winters are over but it started to rain again and the cold breezy winds are back. Not that I'm not liking it but it gets difficult when you have to go out for a shoot. A good shoot needs good lighting and yesterday we some how managed to click some good pictures with the available natural lights. 

I got this necklace as a gift. When I thought of pairing it, I wanted to give life to the entire look. So I kept the owls nest as a theme and paired the outfit in brown to give it a nest feeling. I paired the long sweater as a dress with the brown peplum jacket.

Weekly Tip: Bow Flat Ballerinas

Hi Everyone,

I don't like to wear heels everywhere specially when I have to walk too much. Shoes are my weakness and I love to buy them in different colors and patterns. Recently I have grown my love towards the bow flats ballerinas. A simple flat shoe looks very cute with a bow on top of it.  

So, today I'm gonna share some cute looks with the bow flats ballerinas with you guys. 

Pairing flats are always a better option when you have to drive, take long walks, running around, going out for shopping, etc. It keeps your feet relaxed and with a bow on top of it gives you that cute and stylish look and you will hardly miss your heels.

Black and White Combo : Houndstooth Coat and White Skirt

Hi Everyone,

Today, I have paired my houndstooth coat. This is one of my favorite piece of winter coats in my closet. I really like the houndstooth pattern on it. 

When this pattern was first created in 1800s, it was known as Shepherd's Check or Dogstooth because of its design. This pattern was originally worn as an outer garment of woven wool cloth by shepherds. Over the years this pattern was used by many famous fashion houses in their designs. 

I bought this lovely coat when I visited a event by Nun and there I saw this coat on sale. I quickly grabbed it as I know it will be a very stylish piece in my closet. 

I paired the houndstooth coat with the with Zara skirt. When I was trying this pairing, I fell in love with this look. You can wear this pairing in your office meetings or a formal get together, Lunch dates, etc.
