Weekly Tip: Comfy Sweatshirts

Hi Everyone!

I received a good response on my last post. Thank you once again for all your love and support.

Today's weekly tip is on sweatshirts. When we normally go for shopping, we always pick up clothes which are trendy, fashionable and comfortable. Sweatshirts are one of these.

When we normally think of wearing a sweatshirt, we choose to wear it as our gym wear or for a lazy weekend because they are very comfortable and cozy. But now you can wear it for your lunch dates, shopping or even in parties.

Sweatshirts are great for your gym or for long flights as these will keep you warm, cozy and comfortable. But if you pair it right, you can actually wear it in many different occasions.

Pair it with your skirt and pointy shoes like olivia did and you can also add a blazer and you are ready for your casual meetings or lunch dates.

Pair it with your skinny jeans and boots and you are ready for your shopping or for fun with your girlfriends.

Rather than going for plain sweatshirts, you can wear printed sweatshirts which are very much in these days. Manish Arora, Nida Mahmood, Givenchy put sweatshirts in the spotlight by using these in their show.

Try these amazing sweatshirts this winter and I can guarantee you that you will like it.

Print On Print: Leopard Print Legging and Printed Scarf

Hi Everyone! Wish you all a very good morning.

I was thinking of giving my hair a new look from quite a long time but I didn't know if that's a good idea or not. It was only last week when I finally decided to go for it. To my surprise..!! The haircut came out really well and I also got many compliments. I hope you all will like it too :)

Today's post is on 'print on print'. I have paired my leopard print leggings with my polka dot jacket and a printed scarf. This is a very nice but a rare combo. One has to be very careful while using two or more prints together. It's very important to understand the fact that not every print will go with an another one. So before you pair up two or more prints, make sure that the prints are complimenting and do not pop-out.

If you'l notice, the leggings I'am wearing has a little detail to it. The print of my leggings is very subtle because of which it compliments the other two prints.

Mixing two prints can be fun and I would recommend all of you to try that.

Thank you for reading.
Happy Sunday!

Weekly Tip: Indian Sarees

Hi Everyone!

It is the wedding season and I'm sure we all have to attend at least one close wedding this season.

I have seen many people who shop without even having a clue of what they want. Well I think instead of rushing into things, you should first plan a look for yourself and then start shopping. By doing so, you will not only save some money but will also end up purchasing only those things which are required.

I always plan my look before I leave for shopping, and if I don't get anything similar to what I want, I get it made for myself.
So, this season try something Indian and Sophisticated. Try some Sarees!

Kareena is looking really sexy in this saree designed by Manish Malhotra.

I think keeping your entire outfit simple looks great. Specially when you are attending a wedding function, after all you are not the bride!!

I really liked Sonam's look and I would really love to try this on me.

Which look would you like to try?

Weekly Tip: Lovely Gowns

Hi Everyone!

The other day I was watching the 62nd edition of the Miss Universe contest, where Miss Venezuela, Gabriela Isler won the pageant held at Moscow's Crocus City Hall in Russia. The contestants wore beautiful flowing evening gowns and colorful national costumes.

Unfortunately Miss India couldn't grab the pageant for us, but I'm very proud that she made it to top 10 semi-finalists in the contest.

Some of the other stunning evening gowns wore by other contestants:

There comes Miss Great Britain

Miss Spain

Miss Ecuador

Miss USA

Miss Dominican Republic

Miss Brazil

Miss Philippines

The gown wore by Miss Ukraine was my favorite out of all. The great neckline gave the whole dress a very elegant look.

Former Miss Universe 2012.

And here comes Miss Universe 2013, Miss Venezuela

So, now when you have to attend an evening ball or a dinner party, you know what to wear and how to dress elegantly.

Book Madness: Check Dress and White Coat

Hi Everyone!

We decided to wrap up our last shoot early morning. So, we all got dressed up and went out for the shoot and were searching for a good location and at the same time we were feeling hungry as we did not have our breakfast.

We decided to go to Cha Bar in Connaught Place before the shoot. We love crashing there because of its ambiance and good food plus lots of books. The Oxford Bookstore houses Cha Bar, and is one of my favorite place to hang out.

To my surprise when we went to Cha Bar it was all empty and only the staff was there.  So, we thought why not use this place for the shoot and we got the permission to do so :)

I was looking at the books when suddenly I saw my dream book.

Aaahh.. ok.. It was not my dream book but it was about the place where I dream of going someday... PARIS!!
